There’s a lot of history behind the Dallas Cosmetic Medicine and Rhinoplasty Meeting. Dr. John Burns explains the history behind this meeting. It started when Dr. Jack Gunter, the father of rhinoplasty, founded Dallas Rhinoplasty Meeting in 1983. He saw a need for more plastic surgery training. An entire generation of surgeons was educated by Dr. Gunter and his colleagues. Thousands were trained under Dr. Gunter’s watch. Now, Dr. Rohrich chairs Dallas Cosmetic Medicine and Rhinoplasty Meeting, continuing the long tradition of educating those who work in cosmetic medicine and rhinoplasty. The addition of the cosmetic portion of the meeting has broadened its scope, making this meeting even better and even more important. Dallas Cosmetic Medicine and Rhinoplasty Meeting now has an international reputation. Each year, faculty from around the world come together in Dallas to share their knowledge with others.
